Diogo’s story

After graduating, he began his career as a .NET backend developer at MicroIO, where he mainly worked on personalized integrated solutions for? software and hardware. During this time, he went on to become a Java full-stack developer in order to meet his company’s challenges.

After that, Diogo embraced a new challenge by launching his own solutions for production management company: RMSoftec.

Ready for something new, Diogo crossed paths with Apside Portugal in May 2021 and decided to be part of the adventure!

Why did you join Apside?

Diogo: “Apside came to me as a challenge that would allow me to work on innovative projects, different from what I had been doing for several years. Apside is supporting us in the development of our careers, and this is a real opportunity!”

Diogo’s assignments

Diogo is currently working for our client Mobilize Financial Services, an international company based in France, specialised in car financing, insurance, and related activities for the Renault group. As part of his assignment, Diogo is working as a senior full-stack Java/Angular developer, in an 11-member team, with Apsidians from Rennes and Aveiro.

His team is working on the development of 2 solutions and the maintenance of 3 other applications. In order to meet the customer’s various challenges, they must prioritise his needs and work together to meet them as effectively as possible.

As part of these various projects, Diogo and his team are working with the Java Spring Boot framework with Oracle database for the back end. For the front end, they are developing in Angular.

Besides his tasks, he enjoys passing on his knowledge to young employees, making sure they have the tools they need to carry out their functions.
