Agile Project Manager à Ottawa

We are seeking an Agile Project Manager to support a high-performing, cross-functional squad dedicated to delivering exceptional customer value. This role is pivotal in enabling the team to achieve its goals through agile practices, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on outcomes that matter to our customers.
Primary Responsibilities :

Agile Delivery Leadership: Guide the squad in applying agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to plan, execute, and deliver high-impact initiatives aligned with customer and business priorities.

Customer Value Focus: Ensure that the team maintains a clear line of sight to customer needs and outcomes, facilitating prioritization and decision-making that maximizes value delivery.

Team Enablement: Foster a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous learning. Remove impediments, support team health, and help build sustainable delivery practices.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between the squad and stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and shared understanding of goals, progress, and risks.

Metrics & Improvement: Use data-driven insights to support team retrospectives, track delivery performance, and identify opportunities for improvement in both process and outcomes.

Proven experience in agile project management within a complex, customer-centric environment.

Strong facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast-paced setting.

Familiarity with the insurance domain is an asset.

Agile knowledge and expertise:

Familiar with Agile and leverages relevant frameworks (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) to optimize squad outcomes.

Grasps the details of squad members’ technical approaches and proactively drives initiatives to improve engineering practices.

Fluent in customer centricity and effectively encourages the squad to uphold those principles. Effective at re-orienting the squads thinking around continuous iteration based on customer feedback when necessary.

Naturally and consistently brings enthusiasm and passion about the Enterprise Agile process to effectively encourage the squad to contribute to that environment.

Adopts a growth mindset and promotes and open-feedback culture within the squad
Other Skills Required:
-
Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile principles, the Scrum Framework and Kanban.

Completed an undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, program management or business analysis.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a dedicated Agile Project Manager.
Assets:

Project Manager / Scrum Master certification (e.g., DASM, DASSM, PSM, PMP)

Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO)

Knowledge of Planview Portfolios

Fluently bilingual in both official languages, French and English.
